Public Schools Are Under Attack, 'Remember The Titans' And A

Sadly, as I pointed out earlier, the gay and lesbian crowd
is not satisfied with their current achievements; they still
desire more. They want to totally eradicate the thought that
homosexuality and lesbianism are sins against God; and they
are using every means at their disposal in order to succeed
with their goal, including political means, religious means,
scientific means, (they now claim that sexual preference is
genetic in nature), and even academic means. These people
are fully aware of the ungodly, secular, liberal attitude
which pervades the environment of the American public school
system, and they are using it to their full advantage. They
are using that liberal environment to target our children.
Thirty years ago, who would have possibly imagined that our
schools and university and college campuses would be flooded
with gay and lesbian rights groups as they are today? To my
dismay, I recently discovered that even elementary schools
have not remained immune to their ungodly onslaughts. Allow
me to share one more real-life story with you. In my view,
as a concerned Christian parent, I consider this the most
serious and shocking incident of all; and I hope that it
will wake up some of you, and help you to realize what is
really happening within the public school system.

One morning several months ago, while my young daughter was
preparing herself for school, she casually mentioned to me
that the day before, her class had been watching a video
called 'Remember The Titans'. She informed me that the movie
was about Whites and Blacks, and reinforced the lesson that
prejudice is wrong. My daughter also told me that they were
going to watch the second half of the video that day. Up to
this point, I saw nothing wrong with it; but then, to my
surprise, she also mentioned to me that in one brief scene,
which probably lasted a second or two at best, the movie
showed two school boys kissing each other on the mouth!

As you can imagine, when my daughter told me this, I really
exploded! It made me extremely upset, because I immediately
realized what was going on. Why in the world did they show
this video to young, impressionable, fifth-grade children?
Didn't the teacher, or the principal, or someone screen it
first? Were they simply too busy to do so; or is it possible
that they did screen the movie, but didn't find anything in
it objectionable? Or might it be something more sinister?

I tried to explain to my daughter the subtle message which
was being projected by this video about prejudice, but due
to her young age, and her naivety, she simply wasn't able to
understand. In fact, she began to argue and say that I could
be wrong. Well, my daughter knew that as soon as the school
opened, I would call them up and lodge a complaint, because
I was really mad; so she pleaded with me not to, being as
she was afraid that she would get in trouble, or that some-
one at the school would yell at her, or at the very least,
that she would be further ostracized from the rest of the
children, as a result of her Christian beliefs. Allow me to
inform you that we have had a number of problems before with
this very same school, due to our Christian faith; and each
time, my daughter has either been painted as the villain, or
else the principal has come to the defense of the teacher in
question. In short, it is useless to argue with the System,
because you can rarely win. They have their agenda, and they
will follow it no matter who opposes them. They will also
defend their own, before they will admit any wrongdoing. I
have seen this happen a number of times now.

Now, my daughter sincerely loves the Lord, but because of
these conflicts with school officials in the past, it has
become increasingly difficult for her to express her beliefs
at school. She is a very sensitive young girl, and breaks
out into tears easily. While I want her to stand up for her
faith, I am wise enough to know that I can only push her so
hard, and so fast. She must learn to operate according to
her own faith, and not according to mine. I also recognize
that she has a burden on her little shoulders which I most
certainly did not have when I was her age. I didn't know the
Lord as well, or His Word as well, as she does, when I was
at that age. I didn't receive the same Bible-based Christian
upbringing that she has been given. The only thing I had was
the catechism doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church. As we
are taught in the Scriptures:

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is
old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6, KJV

Sadly, whether or not that training is sound, Bible-based
indoctrination, it will remain with a child for years to
come. This seems to be particularly true in Roman Catholic
families. Once they receive their CCD, (Confraternity Of
Christian Doctrine), classes, many of them become staunch
Roman Catholics for life; and that includes blindly trust-
ing in their totally unScriptural doctrines such as Mary's
supposed 'Immaculate Conception', (born without sin); and
her supposed "Assumption', (being raised to Heaven without
suffering bodily decay); as well as 'Transubstantiation',
(the Eucharist actually becoming the physical Blood and
Body of Christ); and other doctrines.

To continue with my story, after giving it further thought,
I decided not to call my daughter's school; not only because
she would be the one who would feel the repercussions, but
also because, as I stated a moment ago, from previous experi-
ences with them, I knew that it would be to no avail. They
might appease me by taking her out of the class temporarily
while the rest of the video was shown, (which would only
serve to ostracize her even more), but they would continue
showing the video to other classes in spite of my protest;
just as her teacher had continued reading 'The Chronicles of
Narnia' to his other classes, after I had strongly voiced my
objection. In short, we would be viewed as an inconvenience,
and the source of the problem, due to our Christian faith,
and not the video itself. Do you see my point? In addition
to this point, I also chose not to confront the school staff
directly, because this incident occurred during the final
month of the school year; and this was to be my daughter's
last year at that school; so I decided that it would just be
better to let the incident pass. While Jude does instruct us
to earnestly contend for our faith, we must choose our
battles wisely:

"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the
common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you,
and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the
faith which was once delivered unto the saints."
Jude 1:3, KJV

My daughter will soon be entering Middle School, and I have
no doubt that we will have bigger and greater spiritual
battles to contend with. I do not anticipate things getting
any easier for either of us.

Well, it took me until later that night, but I was finally
able to help my daughter to understand what was really going
on. To do this, the Lord inspired me to use the example of a
dead animal on the roadside. The first time that we see an
animal carcase on the road, with all of the maggots crawling
about, and the frenzied flies swarming madly in the air, our
stomachs are sickened. When the smell of rotting, putrefying
flesh hits our nose, it REALLY repulses us; doesn't it? But
then what happens? As that scene continues to be repeated in
our lives, over the years, we begin to accept the fact that
dead animals on the road are a normal part of life. Maybe we
are still repulsed by them, and perhaps we still hold our
fingers over our nose as we quickly walk by, but there is a
certain degree of acceptance that this is now normal; it is
to be expected.

Now, what do you suppose would happen if one day, a new boy
on the block accompanies you to school, and there is a dead
beast on the side of the road, yet to his surprise, you walk
by without offering the slightest evidence that you even
realize that the animal is there? Remember; you have seen
these dead carcases year after year, but this is his very
first time. Obviously, your friend would look at you rather
strangely, as he is immediately sickened by the sight and
smell of the dead beast. You see; this is exactly how some
people choose to react to sin in their lives. While a God-
fearing, Bible-believing Christian will hopefully react to
sin; repent; and attempt to make things right with God, as
we have already seen in this series, some people, such as
homosexuals and lesbians, choose the easy path of deception
instead. They choose to harden themselves against the Lord's
Spirit and Voice which is trying to work in their lives; and
the Apostle Paul warned us against doing this very thing
when he wrote:

"But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day;
lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of
sin...To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your
hearts, as in the provocation." Hebrews 3:13, 15b, KJV

The word 'hardened' is derived from the Greek word 'skleruno'
which means to become stubborn or obstinate. While Paul is
discussing faith and unbelief in those verses, and using the
example of the children of Israel, who were forced to wander
in the wilderness for forty years, until thousands of them
had died, due to their provoking the Lord by their constant
complaining and sin of unbelief, how much this lesson applies
to the gay and lesbian community as well. Rather than humbly
admit their blatant sexual sins against God, and repent of
the same, they have hardened their hearts; they have become
stubborn and obstinate in their ways; and I don't doubt that
it is because of this, that the Lord has allowed them to be
plagued with such things as AIDS. They have hardened them-
selves through the deceitfulness of sin.

Amazingly, that is precisely what Paul had done earlier in
his life when, in his self-righteous, pharisaical delusion,
he was persecuting the young Christian church. There is
Scriptural evidence which suggests that when Stephen was
lambasting the false religious leaders of the Sanhedrin in
Acts chapters six and seven, Paul, then known as Saul, was
among that group. Just prior to being stoned by that mob
of self-righteous wolves, notice what Stephen said to them:

"Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do
always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do
ye." Acts 7:51, KJV

You see; Stephen is accusing them of the very same things
which Paul talks about in the verses I shared a moment ago;
and Stephen is using the very same example of the forefathers
wandering in the wilderness because of their sin of unbelief.
That word 'stiffnecked' is also derived from the very same
Greek root as 'hardened'. To give you an example, sometimes
when we correct our children, how do they react? Or to make
this an even better lesson, what do we sometimes do when God
is trying to correct us about a certain sin which is plaguing
our life? Imagine that the Lord is symbolically looking down
from Heaven and saying to you, 'Look at me; I want to talk to
you about something'; but instead of looking at Him directly
in the eyes, because we know that we just won't be able to
bear the conviction of His Spirit, we stubbornly look to the
side, and our neck is kind of stretched and stiff. Just like
Stephen and Paul state, we are being stubborn, stiffnecked,
obstinate and hardened; not only physically with our necks,
but in our heart and spirit as well. We are being rebellious.
The Lord had the Prophet Isaiah describe the descendants of
Jacob the very same way when he wrote:

"Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an
iron sinew, and thy brow brass;" Isaiah 48:4, KJV

The problem is, if in our foolish pride we act this way long
enough, we may end up in very serious trouble with the Lord.
As we read in the Book of Proverbs:

"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit
before a fall." Proverbs 16:18, KJV

God will try to get through to us gently first, but if we
are too stupid to take a hint, then He allows the axe of His
judgments to fall upon us, until we learn our lesson, and
cry out to Him for His mercy. We see this happening over and
over again in the Old Testament stories of the children of
Israel. Returning to the link between Stephen and Saul, when
Stephen was martyred that day, after giving his God-inspired
witness in the Sanhedrin, we are told that the two required
witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man
named Saul, before they began to stone Stephen. In the very
next chapter, we discover Saul, later to be known as Paul,
unleashing his full fury against the Christian church:

"And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the
witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet,
whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon
God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he
kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not
this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell
asleep. And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that
time there was a great persecution against the church which
was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad
throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the
apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and
made great lamentation over him. As for Saul, he made havock
of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and
women committed them to prison." Acts 7:58-8:3, KJV

So you see, just as Paul had written in his Epistle to the
Hebrews, due to the deceitfulness of sin in his own life, he
was acting very rebelliously, and very stubbornly, by perse-
cuting the Christian church; at least until the Lord knocked
him to the ground, and knocked his pride out of him as well
in Acts chapter nine, where we read:

"And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly
there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he
fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul,
Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou,
Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:
it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he
trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me
to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the
city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And the
men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a
voice, but seeing no man. And Saul arose from the earth; and
when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him
by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. And he was three
days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink."
Acts 9:3-9, KJV

If you are gay or lesbian, and are reading this series, I
truly hope that you are not so hardened of heart, and so
deceived by your sin, that God has to deal as severely with
you, as He did with the Apostle Paul. I hope that you are
not kicking so hard against the pricks, that is, resisting
the Spirit of God in your life, that He is forced to take
some drastic measure in order to bring you to your senses;
but if He does, then please consider it a Divine Token of
His love and mercy; for as it is also written:

"For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every
son whom he receiveth." Hebrews 12:6, KJV

"Open rebuke is better than secret love." Proverbs 27:5, KJV

Before leaving this lesson behind, allow me to also mention
that in that previous verse from Hebrews, Paul began by say-
ing 'But exhort one another daily'. In other words, one way
to avoid falling into sin, and becoming hardened against the
Lord's Spirit working in our lives, is to keep each other
in check. In other words, we need to constantly encourage
and inspire each other through the truth of the Scriptures.
We need to not only support each other with our prayers, but
we also need to help keep each other on guard against sin
by constantly quoting the Scriptures. This thought goes
right along with the following verses:

"Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance
of his friend." Proverbs 27:17, KJV

"Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one
convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the
sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from
death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."
James 5:19-20, KJV

Let us return now to the dead animal story, and my daughter.
After sharing the above example with my daughter, I told her
that it was not just an accident that one short scene in the
movie was of two boys kissing each other on the mouth. I
told her that it was intentionally placed there for a very
specific reason. Actors were purposely hired for the part,
and perhaps even paid to do what they did. It was not just
an afterthought. I am sure that careful attention was given
to every detail of the video. I then explained to her that
the intention was to implant a subconscious thought in her
mind, via a movie about prejudice between Blacks and Whites,
that to view homosexual relationships as abnormal, is not
only wrong, but it is likewise a form of prejudice. In other
words, the intention of the video's creators was to attach a
lie, (gay relationships are normal), to something totally
unrelated, (Blacks and Whites shouldn't be prejudiced against
each other), which most people perceive as truth.

I told my daughter that I have no doubt that irresponsible
school officials will continue to show these kinds of videos
in the classroom, which contain these quick, short scenes,
which slowly but surely indoctrinate children, and subtly
persuade them that the gay and lesbian lifestyle is normal,
acceptable, and can even be enjoyable. Even though these
relationships clearly defy God's Natural Order, similar to
the animal carcase on the road which nauseates us, children
will be taught to ignore the natural repulsion given to them
by God, and will eventually tolerate, if not embrace, these
aberrant lifestyles. Their sense of right and wrong will be
warped. They will become numb to the Voice of God's Spirit
speaking the truth to their hearts. Sin will no longer be
a sin in their eyes; and we, their parents, will simply be
branded as old-fashioned fogies.

I also explained to my daughter, that as she continues to go
to public school, she will undoubtedly encounter gays and
lesbians sooner or later; and she is going to have to decide
how she will react to them. I told her that eventually, she
is going to have to make her own decisions regarding her
faith. Either she will compromise and hide her light under a
bushel, or else she will stand up for what she believes in;
even if it means being ostracized, and suffering mockery and
ridicule, and losing friends, or even being reprimanded by
school authorities. If there is one thing which has become
clear to me personally, it is that we will each have to pay
a greater and greater price for our faith, as the world
continues to slide into spiritual darkness, and the gulf
grows ever wider between the Children of Light, and the
Children of Darkness. This is an inevitable truth; for as
Jesus said:

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he
that endureth to the end shall be saved." Matthew 10:22, KJV

If you are a God-fearing, Bible-believing Christian, then I
hope that after reading the information which I have provided
in this series, that you are truly convinced that all of the
social and legal victories which have been won by the gay and
lesbian community, are most certainly not of God, but rather,
are inspired by none other than Satan himself; the Father of
Lies; who has declared a war of spiritual anarchy against the
Natural Order established by the Lord in the Garden of Eden.
It should be clear to you by now, that the purpose of these
new laws, and new social attitudes, is to totally overturn
God's Standards, as they are contained in the Mosaic Law,
and to replace them with a less-demanding, human standard,
in which sin and guilt are viewed as outdated ideas from the
past, in which sin is no longer considered a sin.

If you think that this idea of an anarchist's world sounds
a bit preposterous, may I suggest that you consider how the
Apostle Paul describes the soon-coming false Jewish messiah
in the second chapter of his second Epistle to the church at
Thessalonica. While some Bibles, such as the KJV, interpret
'anthropos hamartia' as 'man of sin', meaning of course that
this person will rebel against and violate the Laws of God,
other Bibles interpret it using such terminology as 'man of
rebellion', and 'the lawless one'. Here is the KJV version:

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not
come, except there come a falling away first, and that man
of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"
2 Thessalonians 2:3, KJV

No matter how we choose to interpret the phrase, the general
idea being proposed by Paul, is that this man, this false
messiah who will actually claim to be God, will live outside
of the Law of the true God of Heaven; he will be a spiritual
anarchist who opposes God's Natural Order; and it is only
natural to assume that his followers will do likewise as
well.

As a final proof of everything I have stated in this series,
allow me to present you with one more piece of convincing
evidence, which points to the fact that there is currently a
concerted effort to overturn the Natural Order established
by God Himself. As we all know, at this current time, one's
legal gender is determined by his or her physical attributes
at birth. If a baby is born with female reproductive organs,
she is obviously female; and if a child is born with male
reproductive organs, then he is obviously male; but what if
this is legally redefined so that one's gender is no longer
determined solely by one's physical attributes, but also by
one's mental and emotional state, or even by one's physical
attributes after undergoing a sex-change operation? If you
doubt that this is really possible, please consider the
following excerpts taken from a news article which was
published by 'Christian News at Worthy News':

Same-sex partnerships have been debated since the great
community barbecue at Sodom and Gomorrah, and the trend will
undoubtedly continue. But a related issue of monstrous
proportions is on the horizon: Impending legislative changes
regarding gender definition as a result of sex-change
operations, and a scarier subject, transgenics, both of
which challenge the orthodox rendering of the divine order,
are inevitable.

Up until now, a man who submitted to sex-reassignment
remained legally defined as a man regardless of how he
mutilated himself. That's because the law was based on
existing limitations regarding reproduction; a person who
went through a sex-change operation did not acquire the
necessary internal organs for procreation during the
procedure and therefore continued to be defined by his
gender at birth.

But such concepts are changing. The catch phrase has gone
from "sex reassignment surgery" to "gender reassignment
surgery." The language is intentional. The goal is to change
state and federal definitions of male and female to existing
physical characteristics, rather than gender at the time of
birth. To make matters worse, cloning and alternative
conception and gestation methods have been developed to
satisfy the legal requirements of genetic reproduction by
gender-altered couples.

Alarming, isn't it? Imagine; the day may soon be upon us
when, from a legal perspective, men are really women, and
women are really men, and men may be able to physically bear
their own children, after they've been turned into women of
course! Now, if all of that sounds confusing to you, just
remember; God is NOT the author of confusion; Satan is; and
he, (meaning Satan), must be gloating with absolute delight
over the sexual identity crisis which has sadly gripped the
world. One thing is for certain; regardless of how much man
tries to implement and force his imperfect, corrupt laws
upon us, God's Word stands forever; because it is Absolute
Law, and nothing will ever change that! Please consider the
following verses:

"For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven."
Psalms 119:89, KJV

"Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy
righteous judgments endureth for ever." Psalms 119:160, KJV

"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our
God shall stand for ever." Isaiah 40:8, KJV

"For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob
are not consumed." Malachi 3:6, KJV

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
Hebrews 13:8, KJV

With these verses which clearly reveal the immutability of
God's Word, I am going to bring another series to a close. I
trust that it has been a blessing in your life.
