Sadly, the Clintons are not the only prominent citizens from
America's so-called Bible Belt of the South to abandon their
Christian upbringing. A few months after Clinton made his
outlandish remarks regarding the so-called 'higher levels of
decency' occurring within American society, former president
Jimmy Carter, a man who many Americans viewed as being much
more of a Christian example than Mr. Clinton, announced that
he was not opposed to homosexuals being ordained as priests.
Following is a news article from the Baptist Press which was
published at that time:

Carter States Affirmation Of Homosexual Ordination

November 4, 2000

ATLANTA, GA (BP) -- Former president and former Southern
Baptist Jimmy Carter said that while homosexuality is a sin,
he sees nothing wrong with a 'Christian homosexual' being
ordained. Carter made his comments during a 60-minute
telephone interview with Baptist Press on Oct. 20.

Carter announced Oct. 19 that he could no longer be
associated with the Southern Baptist Convention citing among
his reasons the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted in June
and its stance on female pastors. Carter said he was
convinced to leave the SBC after listening to a taped
message by Charles Wade, executive director of the Baptist
General Convention of Texas.

Carter discussed a variety of issues surrounding his
decision to leave the SBC, including his stances on several
controversial issues -- homosexuality and abortion.

"If that person [a homosexual] was demonstrating the essence
of Christianity, I would not object to the individual being
ordained," Carter said. "Yes, homosexuality is a sin but so
is adultery. When somebody doesn't give 10 percent of their
earnings to the church, it is a sin. All of us are sinners
every day. And adultery is a more serious sin than
homosexuality."

Carter said the ordination of homosexuals is a decision to
be made by individual churches and he doubted his home
church, Maranatha Baptist in Plains, Ga., would go out of
its way to ordain a homosexual.

"If we did have a homosexual in our church who wanted to be
ordained, it would be decided not on sexual preference," he
stressed.

Carter said he does not support legal approval for
homosexual marriages but he does support laws that prohibit
discrimination against homosexuals.

"Homosexuals have a perfect right to profess to be
Christians, accept Christ as Savior, and I wouldn't have a
problem if they worshiped side by side with me," the former
president said. "Jesus never singled out homosexuals to be
condemned. When the Southern Baptist Convention started
singling out homosexuals as a special form or degree of
sinfulness, I didn't agree with it. Now, that target has
shifted to the subjugation of women."

On the issue of abortion, Carter said he is pro-life. "I
have never believed that Christ would approve of abortion,"
he said. "When I was governor and president, I took an oath
to uphold the Constitution. I had to administer the
[abortion] law, but I did everything I possibly could to
discourage abortion."

If America's political and spiritual leaders are so back-
slidden in their faith, that they are willing to do the
things that they do, and say the things that they say, is it
really any wonder then that the general American population
follows suit? As Jesus Christ said so long ago regarding His
religious critics and persecutors:

"Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if
the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."
Matthew 15:14, KJV

As I mentioned in part two, the gay and lesbian community is
fighting tooth and nail, in order to advance their perverted
cause and sinful lifestyle, and they are using every legal
means at their disposal. Please make no mistake. They are not
the weak, helpless, innocent victims, which for so long they
have portrayed themselves to be. These people are powerful;
they are rich; and they are extremely well-organized. Not
only do they possess the power to recruit the help of state
politicians like Governor Dean; or openly gay Congressmen
such as Barney Frank; or even the President of the United
States, but they even have their own law agencies; and they
are using them to the fullest, in order to soundly defeat
long-held Christian values. To add some additional weight to
my words, consider the following reports which were sent to
me several months ago by a friend who subscribes to a news-
letter called 'Traditional Values'. Please notice that in
addition to recruiting the help of their own legal agencies
and support groups, not to mention the backslidden churches,
their power and influence even extends to such international
organizations as Amnesty International and the United
Nations:

Massachusetts Homosexuals Win Public Sex Fight

The homosexual movement has gained considerable political
strength under former Governor William Weld (a socially
liberal Republican) and the current Governor Paul Cellucci
(also a socially liberal Republican). The radical Gay &
Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), a homosexual law firm
in Massachusetts, has just won a legal battle against the
Massachusetts State Police over public indecency laws. GLAD
had sued the police on behalf of a homosexual man who was
banned from public rest areas because of his involvement in
public sex acts. The man had been convicted a year ago for
having sex with a man in the woods near a Wareham rest stop.

The homosexual victory against the police requires that new
rules be drawn up to restrict what sex acts the police can
prosecute at rest areas. The rules say that "socializing and
expressions of affection" are not considered sexual conduct.
And public sex is not illegal unless there is a "substantial
risk" that the conduct will be observed by a passerby. One
police source called the new rules "ludricious" and
predicted that state police will continue to arrest
homosexuals who engage in public sex acts in parks and
public restrooms. This source also told reporters, "These
rules are lawyer psychobabble. They won't change anyone's
behavior. If someone is doing that in a public place, a rest
area, where passersby have access, it isn't right. And this
is not going to change any [trooper's] approach to enforcing
the law." This victory for public sex is likely to encourage
other homosexual law firms to challenge other state's
policies against public sex acts.

Homosexuals Plan Operation Rescue-like Protests

On March 13, three homosexual leaders will host an open
forum in California on "Dismantling Homophobia: the Growing
Use of Nonviolent Resistance to Oppose Religious-backed
Sexual Prejudice." The forum will be held at First Presby-
terian Church in Palo Alto (1140 Cowper St.) at 7 p.m. The
three leaders are: Will Doherty of the Stop Dr. Laura cam-
paign; Rev. Don Fado, leader of United Methodist ministers
who conducted a lesbian wedding ceremony in violation of
Methodist rules; and Greg Marlan, a leader in SoulForce, a
homosexual civil disobedience group founded by Mel White.

This forum will encourage homosexual activists to conduct
Operation Rescue-like events to protest groups opposed to
homosexuality.

Amnesty International Seeks Overturn Of Austrian Sex Law

The human rights group, Amnesty International (AI), is
protesting an Austrian law that places restrictions on how
young a boy can be who engages in sex with another man.
Article 209 in Austrian code says that a man 19 years of age
who engages in sex with a boy who has attained "the age of
14 but not yet the age of 18 shall be punished with
imprisonment from six months to five years."

Amnesty International is protesting the arrest of a man
known only as Franz L, who was arrested for having sex with
several teenage boys. AI says it takes no position on an
appropriate age of consent, but believes sexual consent laws
should be the same for both same-sex and opposite sex
partners. Under Austrian law, the age of consent for
heterosexuals and lesbians is 14, while the age of consent
for homosexual males is 18.

In other words, AI is pushing for a lowering of the age of
sexual consent for homosexual males so they can have earlier
access to boys for sexual exploitation.

U.N. Seeks To Fight "Sexual Orientation" Discrimination

The United Nations is at it again. A committee working on a
draft document for the upcoming World Conference Against
Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia, and Related
Intolerance, is working on banning "sexual orientation and
gender discrimination." The conference will be held in
Durban, South Africa from August 31 through September 7,
2001. Homosexual activist groups in Canada have hailed this
U.N. draft document.. According to EGALE, a powerful
homosexual lobby in Canada, "If adopted, this will be the
first time that sexual orientation discrimination has been
condemned in a United Nations Conference Declaration."

Homosexuals have already won major victories in Canada
against Christians who believe homosexuality is a sin and
perversion. Christian mayors have been prosecuted for
failing to proclaim "gay pride" celebrations; Christian
schools have lost court battles for firing homosexual
teachers; and a Christian printer was fined for refusing to
print homosexual propaganda.

Under no circumstance should the United State sign any U.N.
document or treaty that criminalizes opposition to
homosexuality.

Concerning the legal victories and headway which the gay and
lesbian community has been making in Canada, (as mentioned
in the previous news article), following is another news
report which was distributed by the Associate Press in July
of 2000, which serves to offer proof of this fact:

Province Mulls Same-Sex Marriage

VICTORIA, British Columbia (AP) - British Columbia's
attorney general filed a petition with the Canadian
province's supreme court to determine whether the ban on
same-sex marriages is constitutional. Attorney General
Andrew Petter said Thursday that his office has received a
legal opinion concluding the federal common law that
defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman
would likely be revised by the courts in light of recent
equality rights decisions under the Charter of Rights,
Canada's bill of rights. Currently in Canada, same-sex
couples are entitled to all the benefits of heterosexual
couples except for the right to apply for a marriage
license.

In addition to all of the advances we have already exposed,
homosexuals and lesbians are making progress in other areas
as well. For example, not only have they taken over entire
apartment complexes, but certain cities have now become safe
havens for their ungodly lifestyle; such as San Francisco,
Denver, The Village of New York City, and others as well. To
make matters worse, they openly sit on city councils, church
boards and school boards; and occupy respectable positions
in the American Congress. Many businesses are also operated
by gays and lesbians. This issue has totally divided the
Christian church within America. It has also divided the
government, it has divided the military, and it has divided
the American family. America is truly a very divided nation;
and what did Jesus say about such a situation?:

"...Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to
desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth."
Luke 11:17, KJV

Exactly why is America's house divided? Because some people
are willing to stand up for the truth of the Scriptures,
while others are not; some people fear God, while others do
not; and this causes inescapable division; even within the
same families. As the Bible teaches us:

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not
to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at
variance against his father, and the daughter against her
mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that
loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me:
and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not
worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and
followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
Matthew 10:34-38, KJV

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he
that endureth to the end shall be saved." Matthew 10:22, KJV

"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall
suffer persecution." 2 Timothy 3:12, KJV

As I pointed out earlier, while for years the gay and lesbian
community has tried to paint themselves as the victims, the
truth of the matter is that they are the ones who have been
vilifying Christians by painting us as being unloving, hate-
ful, bigoted, ignorant, prejudiced and narrow-minded. Simply
re-read some of the news articles included in this series,
and it will become rather obvious to you. They have totally
reversed the truth for what it really is. On a related note,
if there is one glaring fact which has stood out in all of
the information I have shared with you thus far, it is that
contrary to what God's inspired Word clearly states, the gay
and lesbian community does not believe that there is anything
wrong, or anything sinful, about their chosen lifestyle. As
far as they are concerned, sin is no longer a sin. In their
delusion, they are absolutely convinced that God loves them,
and accepts them, just the way they are. They see absolutely
no need for repentance. This attitude is very apparent in
the following news report released by the Associated Press
in January of this year:

Gay Advocates Protest At Vatican

VATICAN CITY (AP) - Carrying teddy bears, toys and a message
for Pope John Paul II, a small band of gay Christians from
the United States gathered Wednesday at the edge of St.
Peter's Square to protest Vatican teachings on homosexuality
The group, numbering 18, staged a brief, mostly silent
demonstration outside the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica.
Arriving about two hours after the pontiff finished his
weekly public audience with tens of thousands of pilgrims,
they were barely noticed by the crowd. Wearing sweatshirts
with the slogan: "God's Gay Children Bring Gifts...Bless
Them," they softly sang "We Shall Overcome," and hoped a
Vatican priest might come out and bless them. None did. John
Paul has repeatedly denounced attempts to legalize same-sex
marriages or adoption by gays. Last summer, he bitterly
denounced a gay pride festival in Rome as an "insult" to
Christians and said homosexual acts were "contrary to
natural law."

Isn't that really a tragedy? Isn't that truly the epitome of
personal deception? If, as their sweatshirt slogan states,
God has gay children, that is to say, actively practicing
gay children, and NOT repentant sinners who have forsaken
their sinful, unnatural lusts of the flesh, why in the world
did He inspire the Apostle Paul to write:

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the
kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor
idolaters, nor adulterers, NOR EFFEMINATE, nor abusers of
themselves with mankind, [meaning homosexuals, from the
Greek 'arsenokoites']" 1 Corinthians 6:9, KJV

Obviously, someone is wrong here; someone is lying here; and
someone is deceived here; and I certainly don't think that
it was the Apostle Paul. Notice that Paul very specifically
says 'Be not deceived'. In other words, Paul is saying, 'If
someone tells you otherwise, don't you believe it! Don't be
deceived by their lies! As we saw earlier in this series,
Paul also wrote:

"But evil men and seducers shall wax [grow] worse and worse,
deceiving, and being deceived." 2 Timothy 3:13, KJV

While we have now covered various aspects of the gay and
lesbian agenda, there is one important area which we have
not yet looked at in detail, and it is one which should be
of concern to us all. Contrary to what some people may be
led to believe, adults are not the primary focus of their
program. Most, if not all of us, are already set in our
ways. We know what we believe, and we aren't too receptive
when it comes to allowing anyone to change our beliefs. We
are simply not very malleable. Not only that, but we are not
the future; our children are; and it is precisely for this
reason, that they are the primary targets of the gay and
lesbian psychological campaign. The perpetrators of this
evil program know that societal change must begin at the
bottom, that is, with the youth, and not at the top. They
know that our children are vulnerable; they are easily
influenced; and they are more prone to being open to new
ideas; hopefully to THEIR ideas, and THEIR moral standards!
So exactly how are our children being targeted by these
misguided people?

In addition to using different forms of mass media, such as
movies, television, comic books, etc., another vehicle which
is being utilized for their re-indoctrination program is the
public education system. Unbeknownst to many parents, is the
fact that our school-age children are subtly being rewired,
or reprogrammed, by way of school library books and videos
which contain sexually-suggestive messages; by way of school
counseling sessions; by way of classroom lessons, projects
and guest speakers; by way of collective peer pressure and
character remolding, and by other means which can ultimately
result in our little ones beginning to question and doubt
their home-taught Christian beliefs and values. In fact, it
seems that the overall objective of some school initiatives
is to persuade our children to trust more in what they are
taught and told at school by their 'new parents', than in
the instruction they receive from us their real, biological
parents. They are subtly being taught to rebel against our
God-given authority, and to embrace the school staff, no
longer just as educators of reading, writing and arithmetic,
but also as trusted friend, adviser, family psychologist,
and parent.

The hidden, driving mentality seems to be 'Your parents do
not always know what is best for you, but we, your school,
do'. If you doubt that this is so, consider the fact that
just recently, my elementary school age daughter went on a
fieldtrip to the Middle School she will be attending this
coming August. During the course of presenting his opening
remarks, the Vice Principal told the visiting children 'We
are your parents; we are your parents when you are not at
home'. It was such an odd statement to make, that even my
young daughter couldn't help but realize that it was wrong
to say this, and so she told me about it. It really made her
sit up and take notice, that the school staff has taken upon
themselves more responsibility than is their right to do as
educators. They have gone beyond just being educators.

Now obviously, we all recognize that a certain level of
discipline must be maintained in a school environment; as
otherwise, there would be total anarchy; but can you see the
potential abuse of power in such a statement? While today it
might be 'We are your parents; we are your parents when you
are not at home', tomorrow it could very easily be 'We are
your parents'; period! 'Forget your parents at home. They
are old-fashioned and out of sync with the times. They still
embrace those odd, hateful religious ideas of the past. They
no longer know what is best for you, but WE do! In fact,
your parents may even be a danger to you! You need to trust
us, and inform us of anything unusual which is happening in
your home. We love you. We want to help you. Trust us!'

On a related note, it might also interest you to know that
some school questionnaires, which are never brought home in
order to acquire parental consent, but which are only filled
out by the student in the classroom, contain trick questions,
which are purposely designed to cause our children to unknow-
ingly reveal personal information about their families, which
we parents may be more hesitant to reveal. Perhaps there will
be ten innocent-looking questions on that survey, but one of
them will be designed to extract a specific piece of informa-
tion from the unknowing child, who freely provides it without
giving it further thought. Allow me to give you an example.
In one survey my daughter was asked to fill out during this
past school year, (which I of course never saw), the question
was asked: Where do you feel the safest? The three multiple
choice answers were a) at school, b) while walking to school,
or c) at home. My daughter was wise enough to answer in the
order c, a, b.

Why in the world did the school ask such a prying question?
What does it have to do with my daughter's academic develop-
ment? Yes, we can offer some valid reasons for asking this
kind of question, such as the school staff's desire to know
exactly how safe the children feel while they are at school,
but stop and consider for a moment what might happen if a
student were to place 'at school' before 'at home'. Maybe he
didn't quite understand the question; or maybe he was just
in a hurry; so he just filled out a quick answer not even
realizing how serious the question was. Now do you see my
point? If any child does not answer 'c' first, the school
officials, and perhaps the Child Welfare Services as well,
are going to raise their eyebrow and think to themselves,
'Uh-oh; something is wrong at home. We need to investigate
this. Maybe the child is in danger. Maybe the child is being
abused. Maybe mommy or daddy is an unfit parent. Maybe we
need to take some legal action here.' And the next thing you
know, we, the parents, are being harassed unnecessarily by
the State, because they are bored with their job, or with
their life, and they need to go out and play the hero. In
short, they are using our very own children to spy on us,
and to invade, and in fact to infringe upon, our right to
privacy.

Allow me to also add that I suspect that some of these
questions are being used to create a psychological profile
of our children, in order to measure and determine how well
they are accepting the multi-culturalist, globalist thinking
propaganda, where our Christian faith is demoted in the eyes
of our children, so that they begin to view it as just one
among so many different religions, which is no better than
any of the others.

Allow me to give you another clear example which exposes
this clash between our authority as parents, and that of the
school staff. About a month ago, I was helping my daughter
with her homework. She was doing some math problems which
required her to convert some fractions so that they had
common denominators for the purpose of adding them together.
While it has been decades since I was in elementary school,
with the Lord's help, I was still able to remember the steps
required to help her complete her assignment. Well, to my
surprise, the very next afternoon, my daughter arrived home
from school and informed me that her teacher had told the
class that they should not ask their parents for help with
their math homework, because we the parents would become
frustrated and confused. Why did she tell the children this?
According to what my daughter told me, this teacher does not
always teach by the book. Sometimes she invents methods of
doing things, such as math, which in her view, are easier
and less confusing for the children to understand.

Now again, on the surface, this teacher's motivation seems
rather innocuous; just like the Vice Principal who said 'We
are your parents; we are your parents when you are not at
home'; but if we look deeper, another more sinister motiva-
tion becomes apparent. Think about this for a moment. If
some of these teachers begin to employ non-standard methods
for teaching our children in the classroom, if they decide
to not teach by the book, that places those of us who have
learned by the regular standard, at a disadvantage. In fact,
whether it is intentional or not, this method of teaching
fosters dependence on the school teachers, instead of on the
parents. It slowly shifts authority and dependence away from
the biological parents, and towards the self-proclaimed
'school parents'; and that is exactly what I think some of
them want to happen. They want our children to become more
subservient to, more obedient to, more loyal to, and more
dependent upon the State, than to their own flesh and blood
parents. This mentality is the very same motivation which
fuels the 'International Rights of the Child' agenda, which
is sponsored by the United Nations, and which is also a
vehicle for globalism and multi-culturalism.

At this point, I think that it is important to mention that
I am not trying to demonize all teachers. I am not saying
that all teachers are evil, or that they all have some kind
of a hidden agenda. I know that some teachers, in fact, many
educators, are very serious, and very sincere, about the
career which they have chosen in life. They have invested a
lot of personal time, money, energy, study and hard work in
order to excel in their chosen profession, and to be a help
to children. They love children, and they are trying to help
give them a better life by providing them with an education,
so that they will be better prepared to face the future, as
well as adulthood, and the responsibilities that come with
it.

Yet, at the same time, as a Christian parent, I realize that
their world perspective, and their priorities and goals in
life, not only for themselves, but for our children as well,
are not the same as mine. In fact, to be quite blunt, I know
that we Christian parents are at odds with public educators,
because we are trying to build our children's lives upon two
very different foundations. One is based upon the spirit of
the world which promotes self-confidence, competition, being
proud of one's accomplishments, and becoming a useful pawn
in the global economic system, while the other is based upon
the Spirit of God which teaches us to walk humbly before our
Maker, to give Him glory, credit and thanks for everything,
and to choose a life of meaningful service to Him, as well
as to others. So what these well-meaning teachers think is
best for our children, is not necessarily the same as what
we Christian parents know is best for them. How can some of
these teachers and school staff claim to know what is best
for our children, when they do not even have the Spirit of
God to guide them in their decision-making? They have made
themselves friends of the world, and they teach the ways of
the world, and not the ways of God. Consider these verses:

"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the
friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever
therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of
God." James 4:4, KJV

"If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but
because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out
of the world, therefore the world hateth you."
John 15:19, KJV

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit
of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he
know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
1 Corinthians 2:14, KJV

So then; because many of these educators are a part of the
worldly system, and are in tune to the spirit of the world,
and not in tune to the Spirit of God, they cannot possibly
begin to know, and much less understand, what is truly best
for our Christian children. We are simply on two different
wavelengths so-to-speak.

To reiterate my main point, there is a hidden agenda at work
within the public school system; the goals of which are to
cultivate our children's minds and hearts in the ways of the
world, to win their trust, obedience and loyalty, and if
necessary, to even turn them against us, so that they become
de facto wards of the State. Allow me to remind you again
that the public school system does not cultivate or nurture
faith in God; it does the exact opposite, as we all know. It
teaches children to place their trust in modern science and
man's achievements. It teaches children that the answers are
to be found within themselves. It cultivates the spirit of
national pride and patriotism. It teaches multi-culturalism,
tolerance towards non-Christian faiths, and globalism. It is
a very secular, humanistic, ungodly, liberal environment;
and this final point will become even more important as we
continue to expose the subtle tactics of the gay and lesbian
agenda in part four of this series. I trust that you will
