Endtime Prophecy Net - Bible Tidbits

The Greek word for 'will' or 'intention' is 'thelema'. This word forms an integral part of the dark, anti-christ teachings of Aleister Crowley, who during his lifetime, totally rejected Christianity. In his 'Book of the Law', Crowley states 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law'. While on the surface, the law or philosophy of Thelema appears to be rather benign, the truth of the matter is that the entire teaching is heavily steeped in Egyptian paganism and magic. Rather than do our will, the Bible clearly teaches us that we are supposed to do the Will of God, which is to accept the Lord Jesus Christ. As Jesus Himself said: "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:40, KJV
