The Apocrypha refers to a group of books which are not included in the Protestant Old Testament, such as in the KJV, due to their doubtful Divine Inspiration, Authorship and Authority. On the other hand, some of these books are included in the Roman Catholic Bible. The name 'Apocrypha' is derived from the Greek word 'apokruphos', which means to hide away'; thus, the hidden writings. These doubtful books include, but are not limited to, Maccabees I, Maccabees II, Maccabees III, Maccabees IV, Additions to Esther, Baruch, Bel and the Dragon, Daniel and Susanna, Esdras I, Esdras II, Judith, the Letter of Jeremiah, the Martyrdom of the Prophet Isaiah, the Prayer Of Azariah, the Prayer Of Manasseh, Psalm 151, Tobit, the Wisdom of Jesus the Son of Sirach, and the Wisdom Of Solomon.
