Endtime Prophecy Net - Bible Tidbits

While the Bible does instruct us to contend, or to stand up for our faith, in order to protect it from false doctrines creeping in, this is not the same as arguing and debating with unbelievers and reprobates who have no sincere interest in the truth. Jesus clearly said: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" John 10:27, KJV So God's true sheep will hear and recognize the truth through the Word. There is no need to argue with them. In fact, Jesus also said: "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you." Matthew 7:6, KJV Finally, in his letter to Titus, the Apostle Paul also wrote: "But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain." Titus 3:9, KJV
