Endtime Prophecy Net - Bible Tidbits

Due to their own ignorance of the Word of God, some people erroneously accuse Christians of being 'blind sheep'. The Bible clearly teaches us that it is much better to be an obedient sheep who follows the Good Shepherd in love, than to be a proud, stubborn and spiritually-blind goat who thinks he knows the way better, and thus ends up falling into the ditch. Concerning the blind Jewish Elders, Jesus said: "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." Matthew 15:14, KJV Concerning His sheep, Jesus says "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:' John 10:27, KJV But regarding the stubborn goats who will be cast out at the End of the World, He also says: "And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left...Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:...And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." Matthew 25:33, 41, 46, KJV Why will this happen? Quite simply, because they have allowed themselves to be blinded by the false god of this current world; Satan himself: "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." 2 Corinthians 4:4, KJV
