Smokey and Bandit the Kittens at Five Weeks Old
Above are images of sibling kittens Smokey -- on the right -- and Bandit -- on the left -- taken yesterday afternoon when they turned a full five weeks old. These aren't the best pictures that I have taken of them, but they will have to do, as the others were even worse. As you can see, Smokey's left eye -- on the right side as you look at the image -- is totally cured of the conjunctivitis which plagued him for three whole weeks. I am still amazed by how quickly the pink eye disappeared -- less than one day -- after the vet flushed his eyes with a saline solution, and I applied the AK POLY BAC ointment. Continue reading

Hello again everyone. I am very happy to report that Smokey the Kitten's eye has been completely cured of conjunctivitis, is clear of all discharge, and is completely open. In fact, the same evening that we returned home from the veterinarian clinic the day before yesterday, I began to notice an improvement in his infected eye. From that time until now, I haven't had to clean his eye with boiled water and gauze one single time. Continue reading

Endtime Prophecy Net Blog Related PostsKitten Progress: Bandit's Double Surprise!
The above pictures of Smokey and Bandit -- who will turn a full four weeks old later this evening -- were taken just over an hour ago. In these pictures, they are each sitting in a pouch I made by sewing up the two corners of an old Iam's cat food T-shirt, and looking up at the camera and my face. I am, of course, wearing the T-shirt. Sometimes I carry them around the house in the pouch, and they often fall asleep in it. As you can see, Smokey's one eye appears watery due to the conjunctivitis. I cleaned his eye with boiled water just prior to taking his picture. Continue reading
