Dead to the Law -- a New Perspective
A number of months ago I was engaged in an online conversation with another Christian friend on the Facebook website. She happened to mention to me that some of her Christian friends view her as being legalistic, because she believes that even though we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and are thus cleansed by His precious Blood, we are still bound by the mandates of the Mosaic Law. On the other hand -- according to what she wrote to me -- her friends believe that we are no longer bound by the laws of the Old Testament. Continue reading
