Keep Your Eyes on Turkey -- Anatolia
I was just reading an interesting article in the New York Times entitled "For Turkey, Lure of Tie to Europe Is Fading". This news article describes how Turkish interest in becoming a member of the European Union has been fading in recent years, particularly due to the financial difficulties that Europe has been facing in recent years, as well as due to the fact that the Europeans have been giving a cold, indifferent shoulder to Turkish aspirations in recent years.
