A discussion on adaptation, (also known as micro-evolution),
EVILution, or evolution, (also known as macro-evolution),
and the Six Days of Creation found in the Book of Genesis

As anyone who has done an in-depth study of my writings will
know, I wholeheartedly refute the Darwinian theory of
EVILution; that is to say, the blasphemous hypothesis which
states that, contrary to the Biblical account found in
Genesis, we human beings have slowly evolved over millions
of years from monkeys, and other lower lifeforms. I find the
whole idea absurd, and an affront to our human intelligence.
This THEORY is in direct contradiction to what we find in
the account of Creation:

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living soul." (Genesis 2:7)

However, when I was a malleable young boy a good many years
ago, my thoughts and beliefs were not so firmly established
as they are nowadays. I must admit that I was a bit confused
by some matters such as the sharp disagreement between
science and religion. As a young Christian I could never
quite understand the link between Biblical teachings and the
EVILutionary model espoused by scientists and teachers
alike. That elusive connection just seemed to evade me. Many
scientists claimed that such an unbroken chain of events
existed in the EVILutionary line between apes and the first
homo erectus, but they never seemed to be able to produce
concrete evidence to prove it. Of course, now that I have
grown up and have spent a considerable number of years
studying the Bible, I know that there isn't any such link.
It was, and is, nothing more than a fabrication created by
those desperate for evidence to support the flimsy theories
and vain imaginations of rebellious men. EVILution is all
just a Big Lie cooked up by those who seek to discredit the
Bible and call God a liar. Being as they refuse to
acknowledge the wonderful handiwork of the One True God,
they have had to rely upon their own carnal wisdom to create
gods which be no gods:

"<<To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>> The heavens
declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his
handywork." (Psalms 19:1)

"Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but
almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and
turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which
are made with hands:" (Acts 19:26)

If you think that we don't have the same thing going on
today two thousand years later, just look in any museum at
all of those fake skeletons, mannequins and plaster of Paris
molds of dinosuars and cavemen. Maybe they are not gods of
Greece, or gods of Rome, but they are the gods of modern
atheistic science. They are the result of men becoming
lifted up in his own pride and wisdom:

"...knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth."
(1 Corinthians 8:1b)

At any rate, I was your typical bespectacled young kid who
was deeply involved in reading a lot of books, particularly
those which dealt with mystery (such as the Hardy Boys), and
all types of science. I also owned a small battery-operated
microscope, a spotting scope, a mineral collection, a
seashell collection, a collection of cards which contained
photographs of and information on different wild birds, and
other such things which young boys my age cherished. I was
also into playing with dinosaurs, and I often wondered about
cavemen. I was your typical nature freak and greatly enjoyed
exploring the woods and streams of the surrounding area
where I lived. Observing wildlife really excited me.
Sometimes I would roam for hours just looking for something
new to discover, overturning rocks hoping to find a new kind
of snake, looking in streams for crayfish and salamanders,
etc. Unlike where I currently live, we had all kinds of
interesting animals to see such as groundhogs, rabbits,
bats, racoons, snakes, possums and such. There were also a
multitude of birds including robins, sparrows, cardinals,
bluejays, a variety of woodpeckers, hummingbirds,
chickadees, wild canaries, hawks, starlings, wrens,
pheasants and the like. I simply connected with nature while
other young boys my age were more into playing with marbles,
toy soldiers and baseball cards, or else going to school
sporting events, etc. In a way, I think I already knew then
that I was different from most other kids. I was just a shy
little boy lost in his own little world of scientific wonder
and mystery. Looking back at it now, I am sure it must have
been the Lord revealing His Power and Might to me through
the wonders of His Creation, for as we are told by Paul in
his epistle to the Romans:

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the
world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that
are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they
are without excuse:" (Romans 1:20)

Of course, the problem with this, as explained above, is
that some folks have taken their study of nature and science
to the extreme and in essence now worship it more than they
do God Himself who created it all for His and our own

"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as
God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their
imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And
changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image
made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted
beasts, and creeping things...Who changed the truth of God
into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than
the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."
(Romans 1:21-23, 25)

As a matter of fact, this same thing has happened throughout
the history of humankind. In ancient Israel, the practice of
worshipping nature or the creation became so bad that the
prophet Jeremiah had to warn them against such things when
he said:

"Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou
hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto
me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble
they will say, Arise, and save us." (Jeremiah 2:27)

One other thing I greatly enjoyed as a boy was going fishing
with my dad, brothers, and sometimes a cousin. We'd go down
to the Ohio River to catch carp, catfish, perch and
bluegill. That's about all there were in the polluted waters
of the Ohio. Even in those days, the oil sludge ruined the
shore in quite a few places where we went. You could smell
the stench of the oil all around you and see it on the
rocks. I can only imagine what it must be like now three
decades later. But I was quite ignorant on the issues of
environmental pollution in those days. We'd just catch our
fish for sport and then throw them back in again. Apart from
our home always being full of the aroma of 'doughball' in
preparation for the next fishing trip, we also had quite a
variety of pets throughout the years. Some of these were
store-bought, while others were caught from the wild. These
included such things as injured baby birds like robins,
sparrows, wrens and starlings, reptiles such as wild snakes,
iguanas, chameleons, a cayman, a rainbow lizard and a
basilisk, wild mice and store-bought mice and white rats,
Eastern Painted turtles, dogs, a rabbit, scores of guinea
pigs, an assortment of insects and streamlife, and Lord
knows what else. In short, our home was a constant zoo, and
I loved it. When I became a little older, I was allowed to
have my first aquarium. I can't even remember what size it
was, but it was probably about five gallons. Eventually,
before I finally left home at the age of seventeen, I was
the proud owner of a twenty gallon aquarium containing
several pairs of angelfish. In those days, that was
considered to be a rather large tank. I think I helped
purchase it with money from my paper route. Since then, I
have set up aquariums as large as three hundred gallons, and
marine aquariums at that!

Well, time drifted on by, and I grew up and became involved
in a lot of other things; but I never lost my love for
aquariums. Eventually, many years later, I came to form my
own small aquarium maintenance business; and that is where
we come to one of the topics of this current discussion.
While I continue to remain diametrically opposed to the
theory of EVILution as a whole, that is, the ape-to-man and
millions-of-years scenario, within the recent past I was
quite startled to discover that there is evidence around us
today which is suggestive of scientific proof for the
process of adaptation. I am not necessarily referring to
full-blown EVILution, but perhaps to what some might equate
to a partial form of EVILution which allows certain
organisms to adapt to their living environment. Allow me to

Some time ago I was searching for some local freshwater
plants to place in several freshwater aquariums I own. I had
been told that I might find some down at a nearby swamp
area. To my delight, I did find the plants, but I also
received quite a surprise in the process. As a Christian, I
have for many years been a staunch supporter of the idea
that all living organisms continue to exist in their
original state since the day the Lord created them some six
thousand years ago. Well folks, while gathering plants that
day, I was truly shocked to discover that a certain water
plant actually does adapt to its environment. The name of
this plant is either Wisteria or Watersprite. These plants
appear to be quite similar in appearance, so I am not sure
which one it actually is. Whether this plant is in the wild,
or in a home aquarium, it behaves in the same manner. In
fact, what I discovered is that it is quite hardy and will
easily and quickly grow from any size of cutting, even
without roots attached.

But here is what shocked me the most. While this plant can
take root and grow in damp ground near the shore, it also
thrives quite well underwater. I have not really taken the
time to find out which is its native habitat. At any rate,
underwater, Wisteria (or Watersprite), forms broad pointed
leaves with a light greenish-yellow color. On land however,
the leaves are much smaller, somewhat curled up and a dark
green. You can find both types of leaves growing on the
very same plant; and this is what shocked me. At this
point, since I am not a botanist, I can only theorize that
due to the direct sunlight to which the plant is exposed out
of water, not as much surface area is required to produce
the needed chlorophyll. Thus, the leaves are considerably
smaller. The fact that they are curled up is something I
cannot account for. Perhaps it has something to do with the
fact that the air is a drier environment. I must state
though that the leaves are not dried out by any means. They
are simply darker in color, smaller and curled up. On the
other hand, being as the water is darker in color due to the
peat which it contains, the sunlight is greatly filtered
out, thus producing the need for the plant to grow larger
broader leaves to capture what sunlight does penetrate the
surface of the pond. Despite their increased size, the
leaves are still much lighter in color and cannot produce
the same amount of chlorophyll as those leaves which are
outside of the water.

Now whether you wish to refer to this example as genetic
mutation, adaptation, or EVILution, is up to you. I prefer
to look at it as merely a form of adaptation. I don't
believe that the plant has evolved over thousands or
millions of years; I believe it is in the same state that it
was in since the day the Lord created it. As we are told in
Genesis, all plants were created with their own seed in them
to produce ONLY their own kind. You are not going to get an
apple from an orange tree. It is only in this modern day of
genetic engineering that man is forcing things to reproduce
contrary to God's natural plan. Consider what we read in the
account of Creation:

"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb
yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his
kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was
so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding
seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed
was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was
good." (Genesis 1:11-12)

I believe that this Wisteria (or Watersprite) plant has
probably possessed this ability to survive on land and under
water since the day of its creation. The Lord simply gave it
the ability to adapt to a local situation. Looking at it in
reverse, it would be similar to a person putting on
sunscreen while taking an outing to the beach, or possibly
sitting under a large umbrella so as not to get sunburned.
No matter how many times that person puts on sunscreen or
sits under the umbrella, he isn't going to evolve to where
they became a part of him. They are just things that a
person does to protect himself from the sun. In like manner,
the water plant does the same thing to absorb more sunlight
for photosynthetic purposes. That may not be the brightest
example in the world, but I think it gets my point across.
Anyway, for me personally, it was quite a revelation to even
discover the amazing abilities of the Wisteria. I think
that sometimes we as Christians become so involved in our
religion, that we tend to become blinded and put God in a
box so-to-speak. Who are we to limit the Lord as to what He
can or cannot do, or when He can or cannot do it? Again, I
am not saying I believe in EVILution per se as taught by the
atheistic EVILutionists; I most definitely do not, but there
definitely is some degree of adaptation as I have pointed
out through this account. For me to admit this is quite a
change in my personal stance on this issue.

In discussion EVILution with a small group of associates,
one certain Christian fellow was attempting to find some
common ground between EVILution and Creationism. In his
argument, he said in part:

"I used to teach biology in H.S. and personally had no
problem co-teaching the concepts of Creation and EVILution
side by side. EVILution is often misunderstood and therefore
mistaught. EVILution is a THEORY, and nothing more. There is
evidence pointing towards the type of adaptive/developmental
changes which you suggested as examples of 'EVILution.' The
problem comes when we deal with the creation of humankind.
Here is one possibility that I developed and shared with
those who were adamant believers: God has full control of
the material world and can do what He wants. The fossil
record indicates that a hominid line existed and developed
attributes which allowed it to cope with its changing world.
There is nothing to say that God didn't create this lowly
hominid (much as He created all living things) and then,
through His grace, guided and directed the development of
this hominid, much as a potter guides and directs the shape
of clay on his spinning wheel, until the subject of God's
will had reached the level of God's wishes. That point
would have been when the physical aspect of the Creation
would have been able to withstand the Spiritual portion of
God's creation, the Immortal soul. At the time when God
breathed the life of awareness of Him, that is to imbue the
material body with the Spiritual attributes of the Soul,
then would the CREATION of the Spiritual/Material being we
know as MAN have come into being. This spiritual CREATION
could only have taken place at the behest of God. We could
consider it a Progressive Revelation of God's will. At first
we only have the lump of clay, unrecognizable and with
little future in hands other than those of the Master
Potter. With time and His infinite patience the shape of the
vessel was formed, the decorations place, the color applied,
but not until the clay feels the heat of the Creator's will
does it become capable of holding the indestructable soul."

----- End Of Quote -----

While I found this person's comments interesting regarding
the possibilities of a hominid line leading up to the
creation of Adam, I consider them fundamentally flawed,
particularly if he is inferring by his phrase 'With time and
His infinite patience' that the six days of Genesis were not
actually six literal days as we know them today. I strongly
feel that anyone who is trying to find common ground between
the theory of EVILution and Creationism is compromising
their faith. They are bowing under Satan's pressure through
the mouths and opinions of their peers. They are trying to
hide their light under a bushel in order to manplease and be
accepted which is NOT what Jesus told us to do:

"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an
hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put
it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light
unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine
before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify
your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16)

If we are not willing to accept persecution from family,
friends and strangers because of our Christian beliefs, then
we are not very strong soldiers for the Lord. It may
interest some of you to know that it was my very choice to
serve the Lord fulltime and preach The Truth of the Gospel
which caused me to become alienated from my family many
years ago. When I began telling my patriotic father what I
thought of the U.S. Government, he didn't take to it too
kindly. When I started pointing out the hypocrisy of
organized religion, my Catholic family wasn't very happy
about it. It got to the point where my dad told me once in a
letter that how he believed was his business. While this is
indeed true, it just goes to show what happens when you
preach the full counsel of God and not just a simple
salvation message. What happened to me was in direct
fulfillment of Jesus' own words when He said:

"And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He
that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of
me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not
worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and
followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
(Matthew 10:36-38)

If we are not receiving at least some degree of verbal or
physical persecution from some corner, then we should really
examine ourselves to see whether we are preaching the
'popular gospel', or the True Gospel of Jesus Christ. In his
letter to Timothy, Paul said:

"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall
suffer persecution." (2 Timothy 3:12)

As I have pointed out in other articles, Jesus and almost
every single one of His original disciples suffered martyrs'
deaths. It was only when the Early Church began to cool off
and compromise with the established Roman system a few
hundred years later that the persecution began to die down.
In fact, those who were once the persecuted soon became the
persecutors as the Catholic Inquisition so vividly
illustrates. The main point is, if you are just preaching a
watered-down gospel and not the Real One, maybe you need to
get with it so the Lord isn't disappointed with you at His

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words
in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall
the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of
his Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:38)

When Jesus spoke the Word, it divided people. It separated
the sheep from the goats. It had a definite effect which no
one could deny. It separated the believers from the
non-believers, and it should be doing the very same thing
today. If it isn't, then something is terribly wrong
somewhere, and it is probably in the message bearer.
Consider these verses:

"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell
you, Nay; but rather division:" (Luke 12:51)

"So there was a division among the people because of him."
(John 7:43)

"Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of
God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said,
How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there
was a division among them." (John 9:16)

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not
to send peace, but a sword." (Matthew 10:34)

"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother,
and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and
his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:26)

"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall
kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's
sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one
another, and shall hate one another." (Matthew 24:9-10)

"Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the
father the son; and children shall rise up against their
parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye
shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that
shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
(Mark 13:12-13)

This is what happens when you preach the True Gospel of
Jesus Christ. It divided people, even families. Either they
accept The Truth, or else they reject it. It is for this
reason that the Word of God is described as a piercing

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing
asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

Sadly this is exactly what we see happening in many churches
today. They are preaching a watered-down Gospel which
doesn't convict the hearts of anyone. It doesn't move anyone
in the Spirit. It doesn't tell anyone that they are living
selfishly, that they need to stop spending most of their
time living for themselves, and start doing more for the
Lord. In many cases what you have are false shepherds who
have lulled their flocks to sleep with their dead sermons
...if they even preach a sermon. And actually, that is all
they amount to, meaningless sermons, because many of them
don't even live by what they preach. As long as they have
their nice salary and their nice place to live, and their
nice car, and are held in high regard by their church
members and citizens of the community, they will tell them
exactly what they want to hear. They will be part of the
crowd which claims peace and saftey when sudden destruction
comes upon them. Some of those churches have become
infiltrated by secular humanist preachers who are nothing
but wolves in sheep's clothing. Others are hirelings who
have only entered into the fold to spiritually destroy the
faith of their members by teaching false doctrines and the
wisdom of man such as EVILution. Even the Catholic Church
recently took a step in this direction. As Jesus said:

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the
door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the
same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the
door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter
openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his
own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth
forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep
follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will
they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not
the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them:
but they understood not what things they were which he spake
unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily,
I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever
came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did
not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he
shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they
might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the
good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is
an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are
not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and
fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the
sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and
careth not for the sheep." (John 10:1-13)

The prophet Ezekiel really blasted the false shepherds of
Israel when he said:

"Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; As I
live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a
prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field,
because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds
search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and
fed not my flock; Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word
of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand,
and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither
shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will
deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat
for them." (Ezekiel 34:7-10)

Well, there I go again getting tripped off on a tangent...
but then some of you folks know how that goes. I just start
typing and never know where things are going to end up. I
just try to go with the flow of the Spirit. Sometimes I need
to force myself to stop and get back on track; otherwise,
these articles would be much longer than some of them
already are. In a way though, this is all related because
many of these false shepherds of the faith have slowly and
subtlely introduced EVILution and humanism into their
sermons. They have totally de-spiritualized the true Message
of the Gospels. But getting back to our main topic, in
thinking about the above person's comment, I am again
reminded of a verse from Peter's second epistle which

"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one
day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand
years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8)

Over the years, I have heard a variety of interpretations
applied to this verse. Some, such as myself, use this verse
to support the idea that, based on the Biblical records, the
Earth is really only around six thousand years old, give or
take a few hundred years. In my article 'The Earth Is Under
7,000 Years Old!' I show Scripture by Scripture how this age
is obtained without using very many external sources. This
figure seems to be supported by archeological records which
only date back to Egypt as far as I know...at least they
used to. Now we have false prophets like Zecharia Sitchin
claiming that the Sumerian clay tablets are much older than
the Biblical record. He and other New Age false prophets
paint a very different picture than what we find in Genesis.
While there may be some truth mixed in, as Satan invariably
does, a lot of this New Age psychobabble is just the
erroneous assumptions of deluded men who have rejected The
Truth of God's Word. But concerning the verse from Peter,
some eschatologists even propose that each thousand years of
the Earth's physical age corresponds to one Celestial Day,
and that the Lord is soon going to enter His seventh day of
rest when the Millennium begins after the Second Coming of
Christ. I am not saying I support this theory or
interpretation, but it is interesting enough to merit some
consideration. Others use this same verse to suggest the
idea that the Genesis days were not just thousands, but
perhaps millions of years each. However, from taking a
closer look at the Scriptures, I am of the opinion that
these were literal days as we know them today. To begin
with, notice the common phrase which is used over and over
again throughout the account of Creation:

"And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called
Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."
(Genesis 1:5)

"And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and
the morning were the second day." (Genesis 1:8)

"And the evening and the morning were the third day."
(Genesis 1:13)

"And the evening and the morning were the fourth day."
(Genesis 1:19)

"And the evening and the morning were the fifth day."
(Genesis 1:23)

"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it
was very good. And the evening and the morning were the
sixth day." (Genesis 1:31)

Notice how over and over again we are told 'the evening and
the morning.' Those are literal evenings and literal
mornings. If we look at verse fourteen of the same chapter,
we see another hint that these are to be taken literally and
not figuratively:

"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the
heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for
signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:"
(Genesis 1:14)

Of course, in the very next verses we have the creation of
the Sun and the Moon. Therefore, these days, nights, seasons
and years are very literal and mean the same exact thing as
they do today. Here is another interesting example which
supports the idea that these days are literal and not
symbolic in nature. In the following verses we read of the
creation of the trees, the grass of the field, etc. on the
second day of Creation:

"And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and
the morning were the second day. And God said, Let the
waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place,
and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called
the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters
called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said,
Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and
the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is
in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth
brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after
his kind: and God saw that it was good." (Genesis 1:8-12)

As any biology teacher or half-educated person is aware,
without sunlight and the process of photosynthesis, all
living things which require chlorophyll would die in a very
short period of time. In fact, all living things would die,
whether they be land-based or water-based, because somewhere
along the food chain, we all depend upon vegetation for
survival. God of course knew this too. Thus, on the very
next day, the third day, we have the creation of the Sun,
Moon and stars:

"And the evening and the morning were the third day. And God
said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to
divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs,
and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be
for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon
the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the
greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule
the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the
firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to
rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the
light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good."
(Genesis 1:13-18)

Now one might argue, 'Well, if God is God, He could have
delayed it. He could have kept them alive without sunlight.'
This is indeed true, but why do it if it isn't necessary?
What purpose would it serve to create plantlife on the
second day and then keep it in the dark for thousands or
millions of years? As I have pointed out in other articles,
our God is a very logical orderly God. He knew exactly what
He was doing. Creating the sun on the very next day seems
like the logical thing to do to me. Furthermore, if He is
God, what would stop Him from doing it all at once as the
Bible describes? I just don't see the rationale in doing it
any other way. It is only in the confused minds of
atheistic scientists and EVILutionists that The Truth fails
to take root. Throughout the Bible there is a very perfect
order and description of events. In every place that I know
of personally, a day is described as a twenty-four hour
period, just as we know it today. When Moses was giving the
commandments regarding the sabbath to the ancient Hebrews in
the book of Exodus, he said:

"For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea,
and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed
it." (Exodus 20:11)

Now, if he really meant thousands or millions of years, why
didn't he just say so? While we don't find these words in
the Bible, they did have a way to express such large
figures. It was thousands of thousands. Yet, Moses didn't
say thousands of thousands; he said six days just as is
written in the book of Genesis. He said exactly what God
told him to say. He was speaking and writing in the human
context of time; just as Jesus would do several thousand
years later. Consider exactly what Jesus said to His

"...Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk
in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of
this world." (John 11:9b)

Here He was referring to the literal twelve daylight hours
as opposed to the twelve hours of the night when men could
not work. He was showing how a spiritual darkness, (and
persecution), would come upon the whole world after His
departure from this life. The entire Bible is written in the
same format of days, months and years. The only difference
that I know of is that the Jewish year is divided into
twelve months of thirty days each for a total of three
hundred and sixty days, as opposed to our Western year of
three hundred sixty-five days and a quarter. In fact, I read
recently, and I cannot confirm this, that there is something
which is referred to as the Celestial Calendar. According to
this theory, the year is divided into four periods of
thirteen weeks each with one additional day tacked on to the
end of each period. While I cannot verify or refute this, it
might be worth looking into. One thing we do know from a
careful reading of the Gospels is that even in Jesus' time,
the day still began at sunset and ended at sunset, just as
it had done for the past four thousand years since the book
of Genesis. This clearly points to the rotation of the Earth
and its revolution around the Sun as a point of reference
for telling us exactly how long a Biblical day and year are.
Something else which I found extremely interesting, which I
hope to investigate further, is the importance of the six
days followed by the sabbath. If you do a Bible search using
the phrase 'six days,' you come up with a few interesting
results, particularly surrounding Jesus' ministry.

There are other examples to show how a Biblical day was a
twenty-four hour period as well; however, I will leave it at
that for now. For anyone who is truly interested in, and who
sincerely wants to be convinced of The Truth, this should be
sufficient evidence. If it isn't, then it is just because
they are resisting it. So let me say that, yes, God could
have chosen to create Adam over millions of years as some
form of 'hominid' as this person has suggested; but if He is
an all-powerful, almighty and logical God, why do it? In my
mind, it just doesn't make sense. To stretch the six days
into thousands or millions of years is to detract from God's
greatness...and that is exactly what the enemies of Truth
hope to do through their vain lies and erroneous theories.
You see, if they can disprove the existence of a Supreme
Being who not only created the Universe, but Who continues
to watch over His Creation, then this totally nullifies the
idea of accountability. In essence, we become our own gods.
We can all behave as we want as there is no longer a need to
fear Divine Retribution. Granted, we will face human justice
if we get caught doing something wrong, but it removes the
greater burden of having to face an angry God.

The crux of the matter is, regardless of what you believe
in, whether it be The Big Bang theory, the process of
EVILution, or the Biblical account of the six days of
Creation, it all requires faith. It takes faith to believe
in The Big Bang. It takes faith to believe in EVILution. It
takes faith to believe in the Bible. Why? Because they are
all belief systems or religions in their own rights. Each
one has their group of staunch believers and supporters.
This brings us to something which I have discussed in a
number of my other articles: the freedom of personal choice.
We each believe what we believe because we CHOOSE to of our
own accord. Personally, I have chosen to believe in the
account of Creation as described in the book of Genesis. I
believe there is a Divine Intelligence behind the Creation
of the universe. I believe there is a God. Everything in
this physical universe points to a Great Designer and a

Consider a simple wristwatch. You quickly realize that it
really isn't that simple once you open it up and look at all
of those hidden tiny gears, cogs, springs, etc. It required
quite a degree of intelligence to create such a little
marvel. Now consider something even more complicated such as
that computer you are using. It likewise had a designer and
creator. In fact, it probably required a number of
designers and creators to bring all of the different
components together. Now, let's continue going up one level
at a time and see where we end up. Consider the intricacies
of the human body which is similar to a computer but is even
more complicated because it is a living organism. It too has
a Designer and a Creator. The beautiful Earth on which we
live with its surrounding atmosphere has a Designer and a
Creator. Our solar system has a Designer and a Creator Who
keeps things rotating and revolving in perfect
synchronicity. The entire universe has a Designer and a
Creator without Whom everything would be in utter chaos
banging in to each other or flying off in all kinds of
directions. He is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth,
and all things therein:

"Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee
from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that
stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad
the earth by myself;" (Isaiah 44:24)

So then, even if you have never read the Bible or heard
about Jesus, using the simple process of logic, moving up
the scale of life one step at a time, observing the physical
world and universe around you, one would still have to come
to the inevitable conclusion that there is an Intelligent
Guiding Force behind all of Creation. It is an inescapable
reality for any rational thinking human being. Sub-atomic
particles, atoms, molecules, matter, did not just randomly
come together and form the universe through some vague
chance millions or billions of years ago. Life on this
planet did not slowly evolve through some process of natural
selection as the witchdoctors of modern science would have
us believe. The odds are totally against such incidents ever
happening. In my view, it takes a lot more faith to believe
that rot than it does to believe in the Bible. Without
Intelligence and Guidance behind it, left unattended, nature
tends towards chaos, and NOT towards the ordered established
universe we have today where everything is perfectly
balanced, maintained and controlled. This is a law of
science, and it is one of the laws of God as well. God is
not the author of confusion:

"For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in
all churches of the saints." (1 Corinthians 14:33)

Any family, town, city, state, country or world which does
not have some kind of leadership would quickly fall into
chaos, into a total state of anarchy and confusion. There
must be some kind of central force in each of these units to
hold things together. On the universal scale, this is what
God is and does. He created all things and continues to hold
them together by His own will and pleasure:

"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and
power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy
pleasure they are and were created." (Revelation 4:11)

It is only when we humans tamper with the natural forces
designed and created by God, that we gets a brief glimpse of
the awesome power which binds things together. Consider what
happens when man attempts to discover and utilize the
secrets of God's basic building block, the atom. Remember
Nagasaki and Hiroshima. As I have stated in other articles,
because man is not a god, the Lord knew that he did not and
does not have the wisdom to handle all knowledge. This is
why Adam and Eve were prohibited from even going near the
Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of
Eden. The Lord knew exactly what would happen if they did;
and we have been paying for it ever since. In fact, time is
ticking away as we continue to move ever forward towards our
own destruction at an alarming rate. If the Lord didn't
intervene, we would all perish by our own hand:

"And except those days should be shortened, there should no
flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be
shortened." (Matthew 24:22)

Remember, God is a Creator, while Satan is a Destroyer.
Satan's whole plan since the very beginning of Creation has
been to destroy the works of God; not only His physical
works, but our faith in Him as well. The theory of EVILution
is just one way in which he seeks to accomplish his demonic
goal. In fact, 'Destroyer' is one of the names given to him
in the Bible:

"And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the
bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon,
but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."
(Revelation 9:11) [Apollyon means destroyer]

Exactly what the process was which God used to bring things
into being, I cannot honestly say. As explained in other
articles, we are told that He merely spoke the Word, and
things came into physical being. From the first chapter of
the Gospel of John, as well as many other verses, we know
that this magnificent act of Creation was accomplished by
none other than His Son Jesus Christ with His Father's
permission and possible assistance:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with
God. All things were made by him; and without him was not
any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3)

"And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the
mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid
in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:"
(Ephesians 3:9)

"Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he
hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the
worlds;" (Hebrews 1:2)

In taking a closer look at Genesis, if we accept things in
their literal order, then we see that the Earth was created
first, followed by the Sun, Moon and stars. If we consider
that this was all accomplished in a matter of six Earth
days, then in a cosmic sense, life and the universe did in
fact appear suddenly. Perhaps this gives some merit to the
Big Bang Theory and an expanding universe. I really can't
say with any degree of certainty as I am not an expert in
these matters.

From what I have read, even honest scientists who have
studied the fossil layers are becoming more and more
convinced that a Great Flood occurred in Earth's ancient
past. One book which deals with this topic is called 'The
Genesis Flood.' From what I understand, at various
excavation sites they have discovered what they believe to
be the primordial layer. This layer is replete with a
diversity of life forms such as would be present following
the days of Creation. Before this, there is absolutely
nothing. It is as if there was no life whatsoever, and then
suddenly an amazing myriad of life. After this, I believe I
read that there are more layers followed by thick layers of
mud. I can't remember the exact thickness of these layers,
but it was much deeper than what would normally be expected.
This seems indicative of the Flood of Genesis which covered
everything which had died during The Deluge. This is then
followed by additional layers where fossilized remants
appear to slowly increase again, possibly suggestive of the
slow repopulation of the Earth following The Flood. I may
not have this all exactly right, but I believe it is fairly
close to what I have read.

There is more and more scientific evidence refuting
EVILution everyday, yet some of these ministers of darkness
persist in their insidious ways, spreading their lies
through indoctrination programs in our public school system,
on public television, etc. Have you noticed how dinosaurs
continue to be popular in kids television shows as well as
at the movie theaters? Jurassic Park was a classic example
of this. There have been many books and videos made and
written full of scientific data which exposes the weaknesses
of EVILution. Many of these works have been done by well
respected people in the scientific community who have
finally seen The Truth; yet still EVILution is a disease
which refuses to die because atheistic scientists refuse to
let it go the way of all unproven and discarded theories.

As mentioned towards the beginning of this article, Genesis
also states that each species of life was created to produce
its own kind, whether it be plant or animal. There is
absolutely no mention of things slowly evolving over
millions of years. Again, EVILution is a theory of fools and
atheists and God-haters. It is a scientific guess and
nothing more, and it is full of holes. No missing links have
ever been discovered. All of the supposed ones, such as
Lucy, have been proven to be hoaxes or scientific errors. We
do not see things evolving around us today in some half-way
stage of development. There are no apple-pears, or
bird-fishes, or anything else. If such things exist, then
they must be in the laboratories of unrestrained genetic
engineers who are trying to play 'god'.

As I said earlier, due to my own experiences, I believe in
limited adaptation, but I do not believe in full-blown
EVILution. Even if the Wisteria plant had millions of years
to continue to grow, which it doesn't, I don't believe that
it is going to someday evolve into two separate plants, each
one with its own kind of leaves. Consider the Bristle Pine,
purportedly one of the oldest living trees in the world. If
EVILution is real, then one would think that three or four
thousand years is sufficient time for the Bristle Pine to
show at least minimal signs of developing into something
else, but it hasn't; at least I haven't heard about it. Have
you? You see, this is the 'beauty' of EVILution: they attach
such long periods of time for such changes to occur, that no
one can possibly counter their claims. None of us live long
enough to notice any observable changes. Through their own
diabolical wisdom, they think they have outsmarted us all;
but they haven't. And most importantly, they certainly
haven't outsmarted God.

Personally, I do not understand how anyone can claim to
believe in God and the Bible, and yet still believe in
EVILution. They are two opposing forces. Both cannot be
true. If you believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of
God which clearly states that God created everything in six
literal days, how can you turn around and say you support
EVILution which directly contradicts the Book of Genesis
thus making God a liar, and the Bible a lie? For me
personally, believing in the Bible is synonymous with
believing in God. I just don't see how there can be any
meeting ground between biblical Creationism and EVILution.
They are in direct confrontation with each other. The Bible
says six days, and EVILution says millions of years. All I
know is, once you are exposed to The Truth, you have to make
a conscious choice to either accept it, or else reject it.
You can no longer remain sitting on the fence. You have to
make a choice either in favor of God's Truth, or in favor of
Satan's lies, especially his Big Lie called EVILution! As
Jesus Himself said:

"If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had
sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin."
(John 15:22)

There is no way around this for anyone. Either you believe
in a literal six day Creation as stated in Genesis, or else
you don't. As far as I am concerned, this should be a black
and white issue with all sincere Christians. No one should
be trying to compromise between the two for the sake of
keeping friends, being accepted, or being fearful of being
ridiculed by the ignorant masses who follow in the way of
Cain. (Jude 11). Neither should they be hiring false
shepherds who will tickle their ears with modern secular
humanistic thought. We are told to desire the sincere
unadulterated word of God:

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that
ye may grow thereby:" (1 Peter 2:2)

As I have pointed out in quite a few other articles, the
minute we reject the Truth of God's word, Satan comes in
with his flood of lies, doubts and confusion. Our spirits
are like vacuums. If we don't allow them to be filled with
The Truth and Faith in God's Word, then we must fill them
with something else, and that is the lies of Satan. No one,
not even myself, can force anyone to believe anything
against their will. As the old saying goes, "A man
convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still."
As a Christian, the only thing I can do is to present what I
believe to be The Truth of God's Word. Whether you accept
it or reject it is your personal choice. As Christians, we
are meant to serve as emissaries of our King, as message
bearers of His Word. Once we have delivered the goods, the
recipient must then choose what they want to do with it.
That is what this life is all about, personal choice, to see
if we will of our own free will choose to love, believe in,
follow and obey the Lord. I can not choose for you. As
Paul tells us, we will each give an account for ourselves:

"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to
God." (Romans 14:12)

If you wish to be rid of the confusion, then you must allow
The Truth and The Light of God's Word to shine into your
heart. However, to do this, you must be willing to reject
anything which does not stand up to Biblical scrutiny; even
if it is something you have believed in all of your life.
This is exactly what Jesus came to do, to give us Light:

"To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the
shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."
(Luke 1:79)

"I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth
on me should not abide in darkness." (John 12:46).

"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to
light, and from the power of Satan unto God..." (Acts 26:18a)

Once you do this, the darkness and the confusion will be
forced to flee; for there is no room for both. As the
Apostle Paul tells us:

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for
what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and
what communion hath light with darkness?"
(2 Corinthians 6:14)

"Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the
day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness."
(1 Thessalonians 5:5)

In conclusion, there are so many examples in the physical
world which reflect our relationship with God. Consider the
Moon revolving around the Earth, or the planets revolving
around the Sun. Like them, we must have a Central Axis in
our lives around which we revolve. If we don't, we will go
flying off into the darkness of space. We will endlessly
wander about not knowing what is up and what is down, just
like the angels who rebelled against God:

"Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame;
wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of
darkness for ever." (Jude 1:13)

People who reject The Light and The Truth of God's Word are
just like this. But, if we stay in The Light and let Him
and His Word be the center of our existence, all will be
well. We will still have problems in this life, but at least
we won't be confused. We will know what we believe and where
we are going wehn this life is over. If you really want to
find that Central Axis in your life so as to avoid wandering
off in the confusion of EVILution and other false doctrines
of men, you need to spend time reading your Bible instead of
things written by those men who obviously do not believe in
Him and who fight against Him by their very denial and
rejection of His word. Let The Light in and the darkness
will flee of itself. I hope this article has been a blessing
to many.
